Chilypep established the About Care Experienced Council which is now being coordinated by NYAS. The information on this page is about the history of the project and some of the work we carried out.
Chilypep Care Experienced Project
This is how the care experienced project looks:-

ACE: The care council looks at issues that affect children looked after and take them forward to managers in social services. Young people also receive training, ASDAN accreditations and take part in fun physical team building activities.
CLIQUE: Meets to identify common issues, develop an awareness training programme for them to deliver to adults, and supporting them to meet with and share their views with Social Services decision makers.
Sheffield International Group: Meets to discuss issues that affect them and to develop better communication with Social Services decision makers.
