STAMP (support, Think, Act, Motivate, Participate) have recently been working with Fixers to create a film highlighting the experiences of young people around Mental Health. STAMP are all about using their own experiences around mental health to STAMP Out Stigma around mental health and campaign for change at a local and national level.
On 10th June our regional Fixers production crew landed in the Steel City and met with members of STAMP and Chilypep to get filming! The film aims to highlight the issues young people face around mental health, and the changes they’d like to see put in place to make things better. Filming took part in a derelict school to portray how living with a mental health problem can feel, as well as demonstrating how they want to ‘Move Forward’ around mental health. We’re thrilled to have been able to work with Fixers on this film and excited to view the final edit!
Fixers are young people using their past to fix the future. They are motivated by personal experience to make positive change for themselves and those around them. Want to know more about Fixers? Check out their promo film here.
